I saw Dark Knight yesterday, the second in the current iteration of Batman movies, the sequel to Batman Begins. I only have one word for it. Awesome. Ok, two words. Totally awesome.

I hadn't heard Trout Fishing in America in years.

I got an Xbox 360. Costco.com had them in stock for a short time soI took the chance to snap one up and it was delivered earlier this week. This is actually the first console gaming system that I've ever owned.

My impressions thus far have been very good. It's a sweet system, and Call of Duty 2 is a *very* cool game.

Wolfenstein 3D is back in my life.

My favorite game as a whipper-snapper was the great Wolfenstein 3D, the grand-pappy of all First-Person-Shooters. I was feeling a bit nostalgic for it recently, and decided to see if I could find it again. Lo and behold, not only is the shareware version I grew up with still available for download, it even runs on Windows XP. It's easier than I remember, but I guess that the AI in games like GoldenEye, Rainbow 6, and Half-Life 2 have honed my skills beyond the point that a game designed to run on an IBM 286 can handle. Regardless, it's still a fun blast from the past, and I've enjoyed being able to play it again after all these years.

I watched a sweet show...

On the farm channel that was all about "How to buy your first tractor". They talked about some of the different kinds of tractors available, what features to look for, and how to appropriately size a tractor for you needs. I feel enlightened.

Wallace and Gromit history gone.
