The amazing bit is that they're all done entirely with a Bic pen. I didn't even know this was possible. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a *real* artist.

Surprise, surprise, eh? Meanwhile, I've been busy at work, my hair has grown longer, and I've managed to collect a few more books. Oh, and my laptop decided it had done enough for me and decided to start behaving badly, so I'm typing this on a shiny new one. (Well, it was shiny new about five months ago. Sue me.) I'm also trying out Microsoft's spiffy new desktop blog publishing tool, Windows Live Writer which is what I'm using to compose the post. I like it so far. It's nice.

My old slippers are a bit worn, and they've really reached an age where retirement is the best option for them. The maintenance required to keep them together has been increasing and it's time to move on. So, I asked for (and received!) a new pair of slippers for Christmas. In tribute to the change of the watch, I give you an image of the new pair relieving the old of duty.

I want to be a smokejumper.

On the farm channel that was all about "How to buy your first tractor". They talked about some of the different kinds of tractors available, what features to look for, and how to appropriately size a tractor for you needs. I feel enlightened.
